Locating Journal Articles
Think of searching for a journal article as a two-step
process. The first step is to search for a journal citation in
an index or database. The second step is to search for a library
that has the journal. If you already have a journal citation,
skip down to the Search for a Journal section.

If you find an appropriate citation in your search
results, click on the Article Linker button. |

Click on the University of Maine link. |

If the article is available online, click on link.
Otherwise go to next step. |

Search the DMC Library (URSUS)
to see if journal is in library. Otherwise go to next
step |

Click on the Submit an Interlibrary Loan request
link in the Article Linker window. Once you are logged
in to
ILLiad, the citation information is automatically
loaded into the request form.
Be sure to put Send to DMC
in the notes field. Submit request. |

for the journal. If the journal is not at the DMC
Library, and is not online, then go to
ILLiad to submit an interlibrary loan request. |
